This massive quartersawn white oak table is used as a computer table, so is lower than a normal table. It is a quite close reproduction of a type of table developed by Edward Barnsley in the early 1900’s in England. The design is quite dimensionally flexible. The incised diamonds on the edges are cut by hand and give the piece wonderful shadows and highlights. This table was featured in the Sept /Oct 2013 edition of Fine Woodworking magazine .
